New York, NY., April 20, 2021 - For the ninth straight year, Jewish National Fund-USA (JNF-USA) has been awarded a coveted four-star rating from the nonprofit ratings organization Charity Navigator, showing once again that JNF-USA’s partners (donors) can rely on the organization for maximum transparency and accountability.

JNF-USA President, Dr. Sol Lizerbram said: “When our partners invest in JNF-USA, they do so knowing that we will use their philanthropy to better the land and people of Israel. The four-star rating reinforces the fact that JNF-USA spends their money on revolutionary projects in Israel that build communities, create jobs, improve the environment, support individuals with disabilities, and so much more.”

Charity Navigator certificate

Charity Navigator notes that only 4% of the organizations they rate receive a four-star rating, placing JNF-USA in rarified air. Charity Navigator also notes that the rating, “indicates that your organization adheres to sector best practices and executes its mission in a financially efficient way,” adding, “attaining a four-star rating verifies that Jewish National Fund-USA exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in your area of work.

JNF-USA National Treasurer Michael Blank said: “Now, more than ever, JNF-USA recognizes the importance of being transparent, honest, and smart in how we invest in Israel, something our partners recognize. This is why so many of them, in addition to donating their money, donate their time on our various task forces to actively take part in supporting JNF-USA’s philanthropic investments in Israel.”

JNF-USA recorded a record high $100m campaign last year, and their current campaign is already on pace to exceed last year’s result.
