Premier Networking Group Connecting South Florida’s Tech Community to Israel's Ecosystem Launches Membership Opportunities at local JNF-USA Virtual Real Estate Event
MIAMI, Fla., April 21, 2021 — A new technology-focused networking group connecting South Florida’s tech community with business professionals from Israel’s global tech hub, will be launched on April 29. The SoFla-Israel Tech Innovation Entrepreneurship (TIE) Council will foster collaboration, sharing of best practices and roadblocks, and provide various types of networking opportunities with other individuals in the tech space. More than a dozen community and business organizations are coming together in partnership with Jewish National Fund-USA to launch the Council, including Miami Downtown Development Authority, Endeavor Miami, Refresh Miami, Miami Israeli Consulate, Miami Angels, Tech Hub South Florida, eMerge Americas, and Lab Miami.
The event, “Seizing the Moment: Miami & Israel Scaling Community & Business Growth” will feature remarks from Mayor Francis X. Suarez of Miami, and Mayor Tal Ohana of Yerucham, Miami’s sister city in Israel, who will discuss how they are preparing their respective cities for a tech-driven world.
The virtual program will also highlight how JNF-USA is working with leading tech and tech-enabled companies such as Dell EMC and SodaStream to drive an employment revolution in Israel’s Negev Desert.

This event exemplifies the close ties our communities share while also supporting the land and people of Israel.”
The event will also feature a lively discussion about South Florida’s real estate market and provide various networking opportunities with other event attendees ranging from real estate professionals, investors, architects, and other business leaders working in real estate technology.
