Editor-in-Chief of Jewish News Syndicate to Address Antisemitism at Sarasota Breakfast for Israel

SARASOTA, Fla., January 28, 2022 — Jonathan Tobin, the Editor-in-Chief of Jewish News Syndicate (JNS), the fastest-growing news agency covering Israel and the Jewish world, will join Jewish National Fund-USA (JNF-USA) and the Sarasota community virtually for the organization’s signature annual event, Breakfast for Israel, taking place on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 9:30 am via Zoom.

The complimentary community event has been hosted by JNF-USA nationwide for the last decade, and is perhaps best-known for its high caliber speakers, as well as entertaining, impactful programming that captivates the audience while educating Zionists about its vision to ensure a strong, secure, and prosperous future for the land and people of Israel.

Tobin’s keynote speech will focus on the rise of antisemitism, anti-Zionism, how hate speech and violence against Jews must never be rationalized or excused, and how the Jewish community must continue to have the courage to speak up so they can serve as role models for future generations.

“JNF-USA is focused on supporting crucial environmental and nation-building activities in Israel’s north and south, while improving the quality of life for all residents in the Negev and the Galilee,” said Jewish National Fund-USA Sarasota President, Toby Halpern. “We are thrilled to be able to bring this amazing program to Western Florida (virtually) and we hope you will join us to learn how you can partner with JNF-USA to make the impossible, possible in our Jewish homeland.”

The event is open to all community members at no cost. For questions and to register: Visit jnf.org/BFIsarasota or contact Joshua Mellits, JNF-USA Director, Western Florida at 941-462-1330 x865 or jmellits@jnf.org.
