Jewish National Fund-USA has always stood shoulder to shoulder with the people of Israel—building, supporting, and dreaming together. Our vision has always been clear: to ensure that the Negev in the South and the Galilee in the North are not only places to live, but places to thrive.

Since October 7, when tragedy reshaped life for countless families, our work has evolved to meet the needs of those living along the borders with Gaza and Lebanon. Because of decades of investment—building medical centers, resilience hubs, bomb shelters, schools, housing, and job opportunities—we were ready when Israel needed us most, and we continue to work hand-in-hand with local municipalities and community leaders to ensure that they thrive into the future.

This is not new for us. We were there yesterday, we are there today, and we will be there tomorrow. We are reimagining and rebuilding Israel’s North and South—ensuring these regions rival Israel’s bustling center and remain home for generations to come.

Build Together: Rebuild Israel's South 

The communities along Israel's border with Gaza have lived through years of rocket fire and terror. On October 7, their world was shattered - but their spirit was not. Jewish National Fund-USA's Build Together plan is our vision to rebuild, renew, and strengthen the Israel Envelope communities. Working side by side with residents, we are:

• Restoring and expanding housing 
• Providing mental health and trauma support
• Equipping civil defense and firefighting teams to protect lives and leand
• Creating economic engines by supporting small businesses, local farmers, and entrepreneurs
• Building community centers, schools, and sports complexes to ensure quality of life
• Making people feel that they are not alone and providing them reasons not just to move back home, but to stay

Reimagine: Reviving the North

Northern Israel, also known as the Galilee, is rich in beauty and history. Since October 7, the region's future remains uncertain, with many families having evacuated and many businesses destroyed. Reimagine is Jewish National Fund-USA's plan to give Northern Israel new life and hope. Together with the local community, we are:

• Expanding housing and safe rooms so families can feel secure returning home
• Growing job opportunities through small business initiatives and training
• Opening the Galilee Culinary Institute, to spark economic growth and tourism
• Providing youth leadership and resilience programs to inspire the next generation

• Building a world-class medical center in Kiryat Shmona

By rebuilding and reimagining, we are fulfilling our promise to support the people of Israel and turn Southern and Northern Israel into thriving hubs of opportunity and hope.
